Ooredoo Qatar Marks Double Milestone with JAHIZ Leadership Programme Cohort 2 Graduation and Cohort 3 Launch

Empowering Qatari Talent Through Transformative Learning and Global Partnerships

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, proudly marks significant milestones in its talent development journey as part of its ongoing commitment to nurturing Qatari talent for future leadership roles.

On 29 September 2025, the company hosted a dual celebration: the graduation ceremony of Cohort 2 of the Jahiz Leadership Development Programme and the official launch of Cohort 3.

The event brought together 29 high-potential Qatari professionals from Cohort 2, who were honoured with graduation trophies and certificates, and 32 new participants commencing their leadership journey in Cohort 3. Both cohorts were in attendance, symbolising the continuity and growth of the programme.

Launched in September 2023, Jahiz Development Programme is a flagship initiative under Ooredoo Qatar’s structured Qatari career track. Designed to equip emerging leaders with the skills and insights needed to navigate complex challenges, the year-long programme features five immersive, in-person learning modules led by global faculty. Topics include Personal Leadership & Success, Strategic Thinking, Digital Transformation, Breakthrough Customer Experiences, and Leading Growth Strategy. The curriculum is further enriched through partnerships with world-renowned institutions such as MIT, Kellogg, and Tuck Business Schools.

A cornerstone of the programme is the Action Learning Projects (ALPs), where participants address live strategic challenges facing Ooredoo Qatar. Using design thinking methodologies, they develop innovative solutions, proofs of concept, and scalable recommendations—guided by global faculty and mentored by Ooredoo’s CXO team.
