Ooredoo Participates in Qatar National Sports Day Activities Across Doha
Supporting Active Living Through Community Sports and Wellness Engagement

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, participated in a series of community-focused sports and wellness activities across key locations in Doha to celebrate Qatar National Sports Day, reinforcing its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.
The programme commenced at Porto Arabia, The Pearl, where Ooredoo employees, partners, and community members gathered at Tower 1 for a community walk organised in collaboration with United Development Company (UDC). The walk concluded at the Corinthia Yacht Club, highlighting strong cross-sector engagement around active living.
Throughout the day, UDC hosted public sports and wellness activities across Porto Arabia, Qanat Quartier, and Gewan Island, offering residents and visitors a range of interactive fitness and wellbeing experiences.
In line with its commitment to inclusion and social responsibility, Ooredoo representatives visited the Autism Parents Platform at The Pearl, where they engaged with children and families and distributed gifts as part of the company’s ongoing community outreach initiatives.
Ooredoo also supported a public sports activation at West Walk, featuring open fitness activities for community members of all ages, providing an accessible and engaging environment for families and individuals.
