Site Visits and High-Level Meetings with Global Telecommunications Giant

Ooredoo Qatar, the leading one-stop national provider of ICT, hosted a high-level delegation from Nokia on a visit to Doha.
Events commenced with a site visit to the innovative 974 Stadium, involving Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, and Pekka Lundmark, President and Chief Executive Officer at Nokia as well as senior representatives from both entities. Visitors were given a tour of the stadium and a run-through of ICT plans and network readiness for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
A larger delegation later visited Ooredoo’s Security Operations Centre (SOC), Wadi Al Sail, where the SOC team gave visitors an overview of Ooredoo’s latest security offerings.
All representatives then reconvened for an executive meeting at Ooredoo Tower to discuss the two entities’ long-term partnership.
