New Appointments – CSDTO and CBO

It has been decided to appoint Thani Ali Al Malki as Chief Strategy and Digital Transformation Officer, effective January 2026.

At a time when AI and digital technologies are reshaping industries, this role is pivotal in positioning Ooredoo Qatar for sustainable, long-term success. The CSDTO role integrates strategy, growth, governance, and execution, ensuring that long-term priorities are translated into clear, actionable plans and delivered with discipline across the organisation.

In this role, Thani will oversee Corporate Strategy, Customer Experience, Enterprise Process Excellence, Enterprise PMO, and Digital Transformation. As a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Board, he will work closely with Group leadership to ensure strong alignment, seamless communication, and clarity on strategic priorities. Thani brings deep business insight and a strong execution track record from his tenure as Chief Business Officer, positioning him well to lead Ooredoo Qatar’s next phase of digital and AI-enabled transformation.

Furthermore, Hassan Ismail Al Emadi, Senior Director – Business Accounts, will take over as Chief Business Officer, ensuring continuity and sustained momentum in our Business segment. Hassan brings a deep understanding of our enterprise customers and has played a key role in strengthening Ooredoo Qatar’s market-leading position in the B2B segment.
