Telco Leader is Official Sponsor of Qatar Museums’
Mal Lawal 3 Initiative
Doha, Qatar
A delegation of senior representatives from Ooredoo visited the National Museum of Qatar on 4 August 2021 to experience Mal Lawal 3, a temporary exhibition celebrating local collectors.
Mal Lawal 3 – of which Ooredoo is the Official Sponsor – is a unique platform designed to offer a vital contribution to Qatar’s cultural landscape by preserving and promoting its heritage, culture and traditions.
The delegation of senior Ooredoo representatives attending the Museum to experience the exhibition included Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief Commercial Officer and several other senior executives.
Mal Lawal 3 sheds light on the collecting community around Qatar, bringing local collectors together to network, collaborate, showcase their collectibles and engage in thought-provoking discussion and debate. Reinterpreted to fit a museum setting, the platform serves as a launchpad for the art of collecting; addressing how to become a collector, what objects should be collected and how they should be preserved and/or displayed.
Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo, said: “We were delighted to visit Mal Lawal 3 and experience first-hand the contribution Ooredoo is making to the Qatari cultural scene as part of our corporate social responsibility strategy. Qatari culture and heritage is rich, varied and fascinating, and we take pride in supporting Qatar Museums in this initiative that both preserves our culture and heritage for future generations and showcases them for all to enjoy.”
Collectibles are now on display to the public at the National Museum of Qatar, until 15 September 2021.
