Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator has announced it is to be Silver Sponsor for the upcoming 2020 Qatar Total Open.

The prestigious women’s tennis tournament is set to be held from 23-29 February 2020 at Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha.

This year’s event – the 18^th edition – has eight of the world’s top-ten players lined up to play, including the World No. 1 and 2019 French Open champion Ashleigh Barty; World No. 2 and 2017 champion Karolina Pliskova; World No. 4 and 2014 champion Simona Halep; World No. 5 and 2019 Wimbledon semi-finalist Elina Svitolina; World No. 6 and 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu; World No. 7 Belinda Bencic; World No. 8 and 2018 champion Petra Kvitova; and World No. 10 Kiki Bertens. Defending champion Elise Mertens will also return in an attempt to keep her title.

A total of 64 players will battle it out for top spot in the singles event, while 32 teams take each other on for the doubles title.
