“Your Generosity is a Path to Livelihood”” Aims to Cut Youth Unemployment
Ooredoo, regional innovator in Environmental and Social Governance, announced it has partnered with Silatech to support its “Your Generosity is a Path to Livelihood” campaign.
Silatech is an international, non-profit, non-governmental, socio-economic development organisation, which has launched “Your Generosity is a Path to Livelihood” as its annual Ramadan Fundraiser campaign.
The campaign is designed to open up sources of income for thousands of unemployed young men and women, including those in dire need of support because of devastating, pandemic-related job losses around the globe. Funds will be used to support Silatech new programs in various countries including Somalia, Morocco and Pakistan.

Since inception in 2008, Silatech has worked to connect young people to economic empowerment opportunities, including vocational training, capacity building, and upskilling, to connect young men and women with the jobs in the most demanding sectors.
