Telco Leader provides support to Ehsan Centre for Empowerment of The Elderly
Doha, Qatar
Ooredoo announced it has provided support to the Ehsan Centre for Empowerment of The Elderly this Ramadan.
The Ehsan Centre aims to enhance recognition of the role our seniors play in our communities and encourage them to participate fully in all fields, as well as raising awareness of – and safeguarding – their rights and working to achieve inter-generational communication. Also key is emphasising the role of the family in care of the elderly, to reduce the need for the provision of shelter.
Ooredoo will support the Centre, contributing to its continued efforts to achieve their goals.
Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said: “We’re humbled to support the Ehsan Centre for Empowerment of The Elderly this Ramadan. We owe our senior citizens a debt of respect for their years and wisdom, and initiatives such as these go a long way towards ensuring they are still able to play as full a part in our society as possible for the benefit of us all. We look forward to many more such partnerships for the good of our communities.”
This support forms part of the Ooredoo AlKhair campaign, launched during the holy month of Ramadan to provide support to a number of charitable organisations.
