Telco Leader Sponsors Ministry of Social Development and Family’s ‘One Million Steps’ Campaign

Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator has announced it is sponsoring the Ministry of Social Development and Family’s One Million Steps campaign.

Highlighting the benefits of including sport in an active family life, One Million Steps encourages families to get active together by offering rewards for taking steps.

Families can join the campaign at Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City and Aspire Zone by scanning the QR code at each location, registering their info, choosing their pledges and walking. On their return to the campaign booth, they will receive their rewards, which will be vouchers from different sponsors.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani, CEO at Ooredoo, joined Her Excellency Mariam AlMisnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, to take part in the campaign on 9 April 2022.
