Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications and ICT provider, concluded its participation as the Exclusive Telecom Sponsor of Milipol Qatar 2026, the International Event for Homeland Security and Safety, held from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
One of the world’s foremost events dedicated to homeland security, civil defence, cybersecurity and public safety, Milipol Qatar brought together government entities, security agencies, technology providers and decision-makers from around the world across three days of exhibition and programming.
From a dedicated stand, Ooredoo demonstrated how secure, resilient and intelligent connectivity underpins modern security operations. Visitors experienced satellite-enabled tactical connectivity combining Ooredoo Starlink with managed SD-WAN for always-on communications in the most remote environments; Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk services that interoperate seamlessly with existing TETRA radio networks; and Ooredoo Flow, the location intelligence platform powered by MCIT, which turns spatial data into actionable operational insight.
The showcase also featured Ooredoo’s growing portfolio of AI-powered security intelligence, including natural-language video search and summarisation, and evidence and document intelligence for investigators.
Also on display was Ooredoo’s Bodycam and Dashcam Solution, a smart IoT-enabled video surveillance solution combining wearable body cameras and vehicle dashcams with centralised cloud monitoring, real-time video management and AI-powered analytics to enhance safety, security and operational visibility.
In recognition of its contribution to the event, Ooredoo received two awards at Milipol Qatar 2026: the Exclusive Telecom Sponsor Award, acknowledging its role at this year’s event, and the Silver Category Award, marking more than 20 years of partnership with Milipol. Hassan Ismail Al Emadi, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, accepted the awards on the company’s behalf.
Hassan Ismail Al Emadi, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Safety and security sit beneath everything a connected nation does, and supporting the institutions that protect Qatar is a responsibility we are proud to carry. Through our participation as Exclusive Telecom Sponsor of Milipol Qatar 2026, we demonstrated how secure connectivity, mission-critical communications and applied AI can strengthen the capabilities of this vital sector.”
Ooredoo’s participation in Milipol Qatar 2026 reinforces its role as a strategic technology partner to Qatar’s homeland security and civil defence sector, while reflecting its longstanding commitment to supporting Qatar’s national institutions and enabling a safer, smarter and more resilient nation, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
