Ooredoo Honoured with Telecom AI Visionary Award at Google Cloud Doha Summit 2026

Premier Sponsor Also Named GWS Partner of the Year Following Landmark Qatar Airways Cloud Deployment

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications and ICT provider, was honoured with the Telecom AI Visionary Award during the Opening Keynote of the Google Cloud Doha Summit 2026, where the company also served as a Premier Sponsor.

The award was presented on stage by H.E. Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and received by Thani Ali Al Malki, Chief Strategy and Digital Transformation Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, in recognition of Ooredoo’s leadership in advancing Qatar’s AI landscape and sovereign cloud infrastructure.

Further cementing its summit presence, Ooredoo was also named GWS Partner of the Year. Accepted by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Fahad Al Thani, Senior Director Business Accounts at Ooredoo Qatar, during the Partner Connect session, the award follows Ooredoo’s successful cloud transformation engagement with Qatar Airways on Google Cloud.
