Ooredoo Customers to Experience the Incredible World of Augmented Reality During FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™
Ooredoo – Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator and Official Middle East& Africa Telecommunications Operator of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ – has announced an exciting new activation that will see customers win great prizes and get the chance to experience a whole new world with augmented reality.
The telco leader has hidden treasures all over Lusail Winter Wonderland, Place Vendôme Mall and Al Bidda Fan Zone and designed a fun, interactive activation for customers to enjoy. Treasures – naturally, footballs! – must be collected to win prizes, find the other treasure stations and complete the challenge to win a bonus prize.
To play the game, customers need simply register via https://treasurehunt.ooredoonation.com or the Ooredoo Nation app, then scan the QR code. Once they are registered, they can check the Treasure Map and guess where the treasure is hidden from the clues. They then visit the Treasure Hunt station, scan the QR code and launch the augmented reality camera to collect their treasure.
Customers must find and collect all the treasures at each station to win more prizes, and to get the clue to find the next station. They can visit all the stations to win as many prizes as they can, and successfully complete the Ooredoo Treasure Hunt to win a bonus prize.
