Eidiya Distributed to Orphans at Dreama Orphan Care Center in Doha

Doha, Qatar

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator, has extended support to vulnerable members of the community at Eid Al Adha with a charitable initiative.

Volunteers from the telco leader visited the Dreama Orphan Care Center in Doha to deliver gifts of Eidiya, to enable its young residents to enjoy Eid celebrations with the wider community.

The Dreama Orphan Care Center offers care and support to orphaned children in Qatar, aiming to ensure they are fully integrated into the community.

Moza Khalid Al-Muhannadi, Director CSR, Sponsorship and Media at Ooredoo – said: “Supporting the communities in which we operate, and in particular the more vulnerable members of our communities, is a key priority at Ooredoo as part of our corporate social responsibility strategy. Eid Al Adha is a time for family and kindness, and we were delighted to show our commitment to our communities at such a special time. We wish everyone a safe and blessed Eid.”
Officials at The Orphan Care Center (Dreama) thanked Ooredoo for the generous initiative to support the children of the Center and present Eid Al Adha gifts with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to them on this happy occasion. They stressed that such initiatives enhance social responsibility and emphasise the importance of principles, adding that this initiative contributes to achieving the goals of the Center which aim to integrate the children of Dreama into society, as they are an integral part of it. They praised the efforts of the state to create a participatory and interactive relationship between civil society organisations and the various sectors of the state, which serves the attention and care that children enjoy in Qatar.
