Fundraising Campaign to Alleviate Detrimental Effects of Recent Atrocities

Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator has announced its support for a fundraising campaign initiated by Education Above All Foundation (EAA), a global education foundation with which it has a longstanding partnership agreement.

With many schools damaged, destroyed or in use as shelters as a result of the recent atrocities in Gaza, education has been badly affected. EAA’s Al Fakhoora Programme aims to enable children in the Gaza Strip of Palestine to regain access to education in order to protect their right to a better future.

Moza Khalid Al-Muhannadi, Director CSR, Sponsorship and Media at Ooredoo , said: “It’s a core element of our corporate social responsibility strategy to support the communities in which we operate, and also to promote access to education for all. We’re proud to be helping EAA in their efforts to minimise the impact of the recent atrocities on the children of Gaza, and look forward to working together on many more such initiatives in the coming months.”
