Add Beneficiary and Send Money
To send money you just need to Add beneficiary details once using your
Mobile Money Menu.
You may add new beneficiary or Edit or Delete existing beneficiary any
time using the
mWallet Settings option
of your mobile money menu.
Please follow the menu as illustrated below to add beneficiary for
Step 1: Dial *140# on your Ooredoo mobile.Step 2 :Reply with your 6-digit mPIN number to access
OMM Menu.Step 3: Reply with 2 to select Transfers International
Option.Step 4: Reply with 1 to select Add New (Beneficiary)
Option.Step 5: Reply with 1 to select MoneyGram option to
transfer money.Step 6: Reply with 1 to select the Mobile Number
Option. You may also select Location option with
2.Step 7: Reply with Mobile Number with ISD Code.Step 8: Reply with 1 to Confirm country.Step 9: Reply with 1 to Confirm Delivery Option.Step 10: Reply with 1 to Confirm currency.Step 11: Reply with Recipients First Name, e.g.
KARAN.Step 12: Reply with Recipients Middle Name, e.g. KARAN.
Put space if no middle name.Step 13: Reply with Recipients Last Name, e.g.
SHUVRA.Step 14: Reply with Recipients Alias. E.g. Mom, Dad or
just the first name. this shall appear in the
menu.Step 15: Reply with 1 to confirm recipient.
One Time Password (OTP) to add a beneficiary:
To further enhance the security of your mobile wallet usage we
have introduced a One Time Password (OTP) for all new transfers to
Bank Accounts through the app.
After you enter the details of your recipient in the Ooredoo
Money app you will get an OTP via SMS that you need to enter to
activate the recipient.
If you don’t enter a OTP when trying to send money, your
beneficiary details will be saved in your profile, but you will
not be able to send money to any new beneficiaries until you
generate a OTP from the App menu and enter it.
A OTP is required only during the beneficiary addition stage
through the app and for first time transfers
A OTP is not needed if the beneficiary has been added
through the USSD Menu (*140#)
A OTP is only needed to add a new beneficiary for Bank
Account transfers, and not applicable for MoneyGram cash
Once the beneficiary and the transactions details are added,
please follow the simple Menu as illustrated below to send
Step 1: Dial *140# on your Ooredoo mobile.Step 2: Reply with your 6-digit mPIN number to
access OMM Menu.Step 3: Choose option 2. Transfers
If sending money for the first time. accept
MoneyGram terms and conditions by choosing option 1.
Accept to continue.Step 4: Then choose the name from the list (Enter
the number that the name is next to and press
send).Step 5: Only once, If sending for the first time
Choose option 1. Accept to continue.Step 6: Please enter the amount of money (QR) that
you want to send then confirm this amount.Step 7: Reply with 1 if you have received a valid
promo code, else reply with 2.Step 8: Reply with the Promo code if you have
Step 9: Reply with 1 to confirm the transaction.
Once you confirm the amount you will receive
MoneyGram 8 digit Reference Number by SMS.Step 10: You can mention your friends and families
mobile number who referred you to use Mobile Money
service or Just Skip by replying with 1. This step
has no effect on the international transfers and
currently for information purpose only.
How to receive money at home country:
Share 8-Digit MoneyGram Reference Number with the beneficiary
at your home country.
Advise your beneficiary to Visit any MoneyGram agent location
in home country with a Valid Photo ID.
Complete the verification process and receive your money in
cash, usually in your local currency.
Money transfer to a bank account
Send money to any Bank Account via MoneyGram
Now you can send money to any Bank Accounts in India and other countries
