How can I check my available Shahry/Qatarna pack allowances?

Customers can checktheir pack balances through the Ooredoo App or by sending the SMS "BAL SPE" (for English), or "BAL SPA" (for Arabic)to 114 free of charge.

What happens to my unused allowance?

Once the bill cycle date is reached, any unused allowance from the previous bill cycle will be forfeited

What is the minimum liability for new Shahry/Qatarna subscribers?

For new subscribers, the customer needs to complete at least a 3-months liability period.

If I requests an upgrade, when will the pack change?

The change will take effect on the same day at midnight. In an upgrade scenario, the customer will get the full allowance but with Prorated Monthly Recurring charges on the same bill cycle.

If I request to downgrade, when will the pack change?

When downgraded, the plan will change on the next bill cycle and the full allowance will be credited once the plan is changed.

How do I check the available balance of my Shahry pack/Qatarna Add-On packs?

Can I activate Daily Usage Alerts for Shahry/Qatarna plans?

No, we recommend customers use the Ooredoo app to check their balances.

What happens when I consume all the available allowances?

Don’t worry, any of the services listed below can be purchased to get an additional allowance, depending on the customer’s chosen plan:

  • Local Pack QR30 will give you more Local Minutes and SMS. Up to 1000, depending on your plan. 
  • International Pack QR30 will give you up to 100 International Minutes, depending on your plan. 
  • International Pack QR50 will give you up to 1000 International Minutes, depending on your plan. 
  • Plus Ooredoo Passport Weekly/Monthly & International Pack QR35. 

Data SIM
What is the New 5G Data SIM Plan?

It's a new amazing Data SIM Plan designed to enable customers to enjoy massive internet data packs at the cheapest rate, in addition to benefits free of charge such as STARZPLAY, Eros Now, beIN SPORTS and Urban Point. No customer will ever miss the data service after consuming the full allowance with full speed, since speed will be throttled from 64Kbps to 20 MB. Throttling is included in the following five plans:

  • 5G Data SIM S = QR100 
  • 5G Data SIM M = QR165 
  • 5G Data SIM L = QR275 
  • 5G Data SIM XL = QR350 
  • 5G Data SIM MAX = QR500 

What happens when I consume all the available allowances?

Not to worry! A new, specially designed Recurrent pack can be used to activate additional data. After one-time activation the Data Pack QR50 will provide a data allowance of between 4GB and a maximum 250GB.

How do I activate an additional Data Pack QR50?

Customers can checktheir pack balances through the Ooredoo App or by sending the SMS "BAL SPE" (for English), or "BAL SPA" (for Arabic)to 114 free of charge.

  • Use the Ooredoo App. 
  • Or SMS “DP 50” to 114 

What is the difference between a Recurrent and a one-time activation pack?

  • Recurrent: The pack will auto renew, until termination. 
  • One time: The pack will be active for 30 days. 

Which pack will be used first, the Data SIM pack or the Recurrent Data pack?

The Data SIM pack will be consumed first, before the customer uses data from the Recurrent or one-time pack.

Can a Shahry Service Key (SSK) be activated with the 5G MBB plan?

Unfortunately, SSK can’t be added to new MBB 5G customer plans.

When existing MBB customers subscribe to SSK, will their SSK be terminated if they upgrade their service to the new 5G Data SIM plan?

No. Their SSK service will remain active.

Netflix
What do I get with Netflix promotion?

Eligible customers shall receive up to 6 (six) months subscription of the Netflix Standard plan as a gift, which is worth up to $59.94. The Standard plan lets you stream TV shows and movies from Netflix on two devices at the same time and in high definition (HD) when available.

What Ooredoo services qualify for the promotion?

New and existing customers on the following plans: Qatarna 5G (Silver, Gold, Platinum), Shahry 5G (M, L, XL) or 5G Data SIM (M, L, MAX) are eligible for a 6 (six)-month gift subscription to the Netflix Standard plan.

Customers who subscribe or upgrade to Shahry 5G (S) or 5G Data SIM (S) between 10th March and 30th June 2022 are eligible for a 3 (three)-month gift subscription to Netflix Standard plan. Customers who purchased this plan before the promotion are not eligible for this benefit, but can become eligible for the 6-month benefit by upgrading to a higher plan (listed above).

What is the promotional period? 

This promotional offer is available from 10 May 2022 until 30 June 2022.

How can I get the Netflix offer?

Eligible customers can redeem it through the Ooredoo App. If you are on an ineligible plan, you can change your plan through the Ooredoo App and get the offer.

If I have more than one service from Ooredoo, which is eligible to Netflix gift, can I use them on same Netflix account?

If a customer has more than one service from Ooredoo which is eligible to offer, gifts from different product categories (i.e. Ooredoo One and Qatarna) can be added together to the same Netflix subscription. However gifts from the same product category (i.e.Qatarna and Qatarna) cannot be added to the same account.

Do I need to create a new Netflix account or I can use my current?

If you already have Netflix account, you can apply gift on existing account. If you do not have Netflix account yet, do not worry, you will create one during gift subscription.

If I am an existing Netflix customer, how can I benefit from the offer?

After gift redemption, $29.97 or $59.94 credit amount (dependent upon the three- or six-month gift) will be added to your Netflix account. Your current payment type (example Credit card) will be postponed until gift credit is used.

What will happen if I upgraded my Netflix package after redeeming the offer?

Gift gives you credit: If you upgraded your Netflix plan, you will consume the gifted credit faster.

Can I redeem the Netflix gift to my account which was created abroad?

The Netflix gift can be redeemed only on accounts started in Qatar. If your Netflix account was started in another location, you will need to move to a local account to redeem the Netflix gift. To do this, just cancel your Netflix account, wait until the remainder of your month is over, and then restart your account using your Netflix credentials with the Netflix gift. All account information will be restored. Alternatively, you can create a new local account in Qatar and redeem your gift.

What happens at the end of the promotion period for Netflix subscribers?

7 (seven) days prior to the end of the three or six months’ gift period, Netflix will remind new subscribers via email that the promotional period has ended and that the subscription will continue via Ooredoo billing or credit card (depending on payment method with Netflix). Cancelling the Netflix subscription is possible at any time by selecting the ‘Cancel membership’ button on the Account page on the Netflix website.

How can I subscribe to Ooredoo and Netflix partner billing?

New Netflix subscribers can add their Netflix subscription fee to their Ooredoo bill via the Ooredoo App.

What do I get with the OSN Streaming App offer?

Eligible customers shall receive a subscription of the OSN Streaming App that can be viewed on 5 devices all at once in high definition (HD) when available.

Which Ooredoo customers qualify for the offer?

Ooredoo ONE: New and existing Ooredoo ONE customers on 150Mbps and above plans are eligible for the OSN Streaming App gift subscription. Mobile: New and existing Ooredoo customers on all Qatarna 5G plans, Shahry 5G (L/XL) and Data SIM 5G (L/XL/MAX) plans are eligible for the OSN Streaming App gift subscription.

Can I redeem more than one benefit at a time with my 5G Mobile plan?

No, you can only redeem one benefit at a time, so if you subscribe to the OSN Streaming App, you will lose your other benefit subscriptions.

Can I redeem more than one benefit at a time with my Ooredoo ONE plan?

Yes, as you will be able to enjoy the benefits provided all at once.

How can I get the OSN Streaming App?

Eligible customers can redeem it through the Ooredoo App or the web self-care portal. If you are on an ineligible plan, you can change your plan through the Ooredoo App.

If I have more than one service from Ooredoo which is eligible for the OSN Streaming App subscription, can I use them on the same OSN account?

If a customer has more than one service from Ooredoo which is eligible for the subscription, they will not be able to add it to the same account, but they may redeem it against a new account that they will need to create when redeeming the subscription.

Do I need to create a new OSN account or I can use my current one?

If you are already an OSN Streaming App subscriber, then you will need to cancel your current subscription and submit a ticket to OSN in order to release your email/username. Once done, you can redeem your free OSN Streaming subscription from Ooredoo and use your preferred username when prompted for registration.

What if I forgot my email I used for OSN Streaming account which received a gift, or which has an OSN Streaming subscription via Ooredoo billing?

You can retrieve your email details on the Ooredoo App → Select your service→ click Subscriptions → click OSN Streaming App → select Retrieve email

Ooredoo customers on eligible mobile monthly plans and fibre services can pay for their OSN Streaming App subscriptions by adding their monthly subscription fee to their Ooredoo bill.
