What is the Programme called?

The Programme is called Nojoom (which means ‘stars’ in Arabic).

What is the Programme about?

Nojoom rewards is our way of showing you our appreciation by providing you access to a world of benefits for using Ooredoo services.

What language is the Programme available in?

You can select programme communications in Arabic or English.

How does Nojoom work?

Get an Ooredoo service under your QID and enrol in Nojoom. Once successfully enrolled, you will be assigned to one of four Tier levels; Nojoom Red, Nojoom Silver, Nojoom Gold or Al Nokhba. Being a Nojoom member, you will have access to both earning points and redeeming rewards from Ooredoo and our wide network of partners.

Where can I get more information about the Programme?

All Programme information is on the Ooredoo mobile app and website. You can also get further information by calling the Ooredoo Call Centre 111, Al Nokhba Dedicated Call Centre 100, or by visiting an Ooredoo shop.

What can I do on the Ooredoo App regarding access to Nojoom?

The app will allow you to do the following:

  • View programme information and promotions
  • Access and make updates to your Nojoom account Primary and Secondary services
  • Primary members can also view all the earning services under their Nojoom account
  • Access and make updates to your personal Nojoom account information
  • See your previous earn and redemption transactions

Nojoom Enrolment and membership
Who can enrol?

Ooredoo residential customers, with a valid Qatari ID, can enrol in the programme. Business and Corporate account holders with a mobile number registered under their company are not eligible to enrol into the Nojoom programme.

How can I enrol in Nojoom?

You can enrol through the following channels:

  • Via the Ooredoo mobile app (preferred)
  • Via the Ooredoo website
  • Via the Ooredoo USSD *139#
  • Via the Ooredoo IVR on 111
  • At an Ooredoo Self-Service Machine

What is Nojoom Tier Status?

To reward our loyal customers, Nojoom has been designed with four Tier levels of Membership – Nojoom Red, Nojoom Silver, Nojoom Gold and Al Nokhba. The higher your Tier, the more privileges you’ll receive. All special benefits and privileges that members will be entitled to access will be determined by, and are at the sole discretion of, Ooredoo.Members earn 1 Tier point for every QR100 spend on Ooredoo services, and each Tier point is valid for 365 calendar days. Based on accumulated tier points, members will be assigned to a Tier;

  • Red Tier: up to 119 Tier Points
  • Silver Tier: minimum 120 Tier Points
  • Gold Tier: minimum 240 Tier Points
  • Al Nokhba: minimum 360 Tier Points

What information do I need to provide for enrolment?

  • First and last name
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth

What is a Primary user?

The mobile number selected as Primary number in the Ooredoo system will be identified as the Primary user for Nojoom. The Primary user will be considered as the owner of the loyalty account, which means the Primary member will have access to all functionalities within the Nojoom programme. The Primary user will have the privilege of viewing all the services under the QID, and enabling or disabling Redemption Access to Secondary users. All major communications related to the Nojoom account will also be sent to the Primary user number.

What is a Secondary user?

All other GSM services, except the Primary service number, under the QID will be considered as Secondary users and each individual service will have a unique Loyalty Membership Number. Secondary users will only be able to earn points, unless the Primary user has enabled Redemption Access. A Secondary user can request Redemption Access from the Primary user via the Ooredoo App.

Does enrolling in Nojoom cost anything?

No, Nojoom is free to join.

How will I be informed about enrolment?

After successful completion of enrolment, a welcome email and/or SMS will be sent to members. If an email address is NOT provided and verified, only an SMS will be sent.

What services can be enrolled?

You can enrol all your services under your Qatari ID. If you have a number of Ooredoo Accounts with multiple services, all the services under the same Qatari ID will be enrolled and linked to one Nojoom account automatically. You will earn from your spend with Ooredoo for a maximum of 20 Ooredoo services only. The top 20 services are determined by the number of Tier points earned by the individual services in the previous month from the spend with Ooredoo. These services will be automatically identified to earn Nojoom points. However, all your services can earn from partner transactions.

Can businesses enrol in Nojoom?

Businesses with corporate lines can’t enrol in Nojoom.

For how long is membership valid?

Nojoom Membership is valid for as long as the member’s Ooredoo Services are active.

What happens if I cancel all of my Ooredoo services?

If you cancel all of your Ooredoo services, the following will occur:

  • Your Nojoom account will be marked as suspended
  • Once suspended, your account will stay in a suspended status for two months
  • If you return to Ooredoo within the suspension period, your Nojoom account will be reactivated
  • After the suspension period, the Nojoom account will be closed and all accumulated Nojoom and Tier points will be removed. If you wish to take part in Nojoom again, you will have to re-enrol with new services.

When can I upgrade?

You can upgrade at any time. As soon as you collect enough Tier Points (120 for Silver, 240 for Gold and 360 for Al Nokhba), you will be upgraded to your earned Tier status.

Once I upgrade to a new Tier status, how long will the upgrade be valid for?

Once you upgrade to a new Tier status, that Tier will be valid for 365 calendar days.

How does Tier status downgrade work?

Tier status is valid for 365 days. It is subject for review to be downgraded or renewed depending on the prevailing tier points on the renewal date. If you do not have sufficient Tier Points to maintain your Tier, you will be downgraded to the Tier based on your Tier points on the renewal date.

How can I earn Nojoom Points?

We have many different ways for you to earn points:

  • For billed services: For billed services such as Shahry, home internet and TV services, you will receive points for the eligible spend on your bill. These points will be credited to your account once the balance is settled in full. Partial payments will not earn points until the full bill is paid. Terminated services are not eligible to earn Nojoom points.
  • For Hala:Every time you use your Hala credit from your main credit balance, you will earn points which will be credited weekly. However, you cannot earn Nojoom Points from Hala usage of the credit redeemed through Nojoom Points
  • Merchant Partners and through banks:As well as earning for your spend with Ooredoo, you can also earn points from our merchant partners (earn partners). We have more than 250 earn/merchant partners in the programme including FNAC, Sports Corner, Starlink, Booking.com etc. The detailed list is available on the Ooredoo mobile app and website, and we are continuously adding more partners who can reward our members every day.
What happens if I add a postpaid service in the middle of a billing period?

Irrespective of the date that new services are added to the account, Nojoom Points will be earned based on the billed amount once paid in full.

What happens if I add a prepaid service in my account?

Irrespective of the date that new services are added to the account, Nojoom Points will be earned based on the weekly Hala credit usage.

How many points do I earn?

Earning points depends on the Tier status of the member. For every QR1 spent on Ooredoo services under your Qatari ID, Nojoom Red will earn 1 Nojoom Point, Nojoom Silver will earn 1.5 Nojoom Points and Nojoom Gold and Al Nokhba will earn 2 Nojoom Points. Earning Points at merchant partner outlets may vary according to each partner.

When will I receive the points from partners?

When will I receive the points from partners? Nojoom Points earned from partners will be reflected on your account at the point of sale, except for transactions with partners with a refund policy. In this case, points will be credited to your account after the refund period.

How do Hala customers earn points?

Every time you use your Hala credit from your main credit balance, you will be earning points which will be credited weekly. However, you cannot earn Nojoom Points from Hala usage of the credit redeemed through Nojoom Points.

How do billed services (Shahry, Landline, TV) earn points?

For billed services such as Shahry, home internet and TV services, you will receive points for all the eligible spend on your bill. These points will be credited to your account once the balance is settled in full. Partial payments will not earn points until full bill is paid. No points will be credited if the bill is settled more than 60 days from the billing date.

Can I change the services from which I earn Nojoom Points as often as I like?

Can I change the services from which I earn Nojoom Points as often as I like? If you have less than 20 services under your QID which are eligible to earn points, all such services will be automatically earning points. In case of having more than 20 services, the top 20 services based on the previous month’s spending will automatically be selected for earning points on Ooredoo spends. However, irrespective of the number of services, members will earn points from partners for all services under the same QID.

What happens when I pay my bill?

When you pay your bill in full, all earned points will be credited to your account. Once credited, these Nojoom Points can be redeemed for rewards. Note that partial payments will not earn points until the full bill is paid. No points will be credited if the bill is settled more than 60 days from the billing date.

What happens if I join Nojoom in the middle of a billing cycle? In the case where you join Nojoom in the middle of a billing or prepaid month cycle, you will earn points for the total amount of eligible spend on that month’s invoice, accrued on the next invoice date, or next prepaid points allocation date.

What happens if I pay more than my billed amount?

If you pay more than your billed amount, you will only receive points for the amount billed. No points will be given for any additional payments.

What spending is not eligible to earn points?

Outgoing credit transfers and fees, discounts or concessions and deposit payments (sureties), bill payments made using Nojoom Points, and Hala usage of credit redeemed through Nojoom Points will not earn points.

For how long are Nojoom Points valid?

Nojoom Points are valid for 12 months from the day that they are earned. You will be notified of expiry dates via direct communications, or you can always check account status updates by logging into the Ooredoo mobile app or website.

What are Bonus Points?

Occasionally Ooredoo may decide to run promotions. Should you choose to take advantage of these promotions, you will be issued Bonus Points. Bonus Points are the same as Nojoom Points and can be redeemed for rewards. In some cases, Bonus Points may expire quicker than Nojoom Points, but in these cases, you will be advised in advance regarding the Terms and Conditions around the earning and expiry of Bonus Points.

How to check my Nojoom points?

You can check your Nojoom points via the Ooredoo mobile app, website or Self-service machine, via IVR on 111 & 100 for Al Nokhba, or by dialling *139# on your mobile phone. You can also access full programme information, including your points balance, Nojoom statements, available rewards and participating partners on the Ooredoo mobile app or website.

Can I transfer my Nojoom Points?

No. Nojoom Points earned by mobile numbers in the same QID are accumulated, but cannot be transferred to any other Nojoom account under a different QID.

How do I go about redeeming an Ooredoo Reward?

What are Nojoom’s partners?

We have over 250 brand partners and the list of partners will continue to increase as the programme grows. For more information about the partners, visit the Ooredoo App or website. As the number of partners increases, you will be advised on a regular basis.

How many points do I need to redeem a reward?

The points value varies depending on the partner and the reward you choose. Multiple denominations are available so you can benefit from a more diverse range of options and enjoy added flexibility in the redemption process. Once you log-in to the Ooredoo app or Ooredoo website - www.ooredoo.qa, visit the Nojoom rewards section for more information.

How do I redeem Nojoom Points?

You may redeem your Nojoom Points at any participating Nojoom partners via voucher redemption and QR codes. Scan the merchant’s QR code using the Ooredoo App to authorise the payment and the equivalent value of Nojoom Points will be deducted from your total transaction bill. You may access full programme information, including your points balance, Nojoom statements, available rewards and participating partners on the Ooredoo App or Ooredoo website.

Where can Nojoom points be used?

Redeem Ooredoo rewards — use your points for Ooredoo bill payment, an OTV voucher, or an Ooredoo voucher to purchase devices and more!Redeem partner rewards — use your points to make a purchase from over 250 redemption brand partners

Can I cancel a redeemed voucher?

Any Nojoom redeemed rewards are irreversible, and such rewards may not be cancelled and refunded once issued to the concerned customer, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions of the reward with cancellation option provided. Vouchers redeemed and not used within the validity period cannot be cancelled. In case of valid voucher cancellation, appropriate cancellation fees in terms of Nojoom Points will be applied and any Nojoom Points that have expired during the cancellation period will not be refunded.

What if the item I want to purchase is of a different value to the voucher?

If the item purchased is less than the value of the voucher, the difference amount will not be returned in any form.If the item purchased is greater in value than the voucher amount, the voucher can be used as part of the payment. The balance must be paid using another mode of payment available.

How does redeeming points for Hala credit through Nojoom affect my main account balance and validity?

When you make a redemption for Hala through Nojoom, it will be placed in a separate account and will not affect your overall Hala credit validity. Credit will be consumed based on validity. To check your Nojoom balance dial *129*1#.

Can I issue an Ooredoo service reward to anyone?

Can I issue an Ooredoo service reward to anyone? Yes – Primary users can select the number to which an Ooredoo postpaid or prepaid reward should be issued, but this number should be under the same QID.It is important that the number chosen is an Ooredoo service number and is the same type of service as the reward chosen i.e., a Hala recharge can only be applied to a Hala service number. If the above does not apply, you will receive an error message and will need to reissue the reward to an eligible number.

What are the rules when redeeming points for a Hala recharge?

Hala recharges can be redeemed for any Ooredoo Hala account registered under the same QID and are valid for 30 days. Hala credit from redemption can only be used for calls, SMS, subscription packs and renewable products such as Mobile Internet Packs, International Keys etc. Recharges are not applicable for one-off products such as Data Recharge, Flexi and Dawli. Recharges cannot be transferred to another prepaid account, and do not have an impact on your main account validity. Redeemed Hala credit recharge rewards cannot be cancelled and refunded.

For how long are reward vouchers valid for?

Visit the Ooredoo App or website to check the status and validity of any vouchers redeemed.

Can I share redeemed vouchers to another person?

Yes, you can share eligible redeemed vouchers to another Ooredoo mobile number by visiting your Nojoom My Vouchers section on the Ooredoo App.

How many times can a reward voucher be used?

Vouchers can only be used once.

What is the Al Nokhba tier?

The Al Nokhba tier is the top level of membership for our premium customers who want to benefit from exclusive offers and deals. Keep checking back for deals and reward vouchers all year round.

How can I be an Al Nokhba member?

Simply enrol in the Nojoom programme via the Ooredoo App and as soon as you reach the required 360 Tier points for Al Nokhba, you will be automatically upgraded to this tier. Members earn 1 tier point for every QR100 spent on Ooredoo services, and each Tier point is valid for 365 calendar days.
