Ooredoo Tariff Adjustments

Updates to Ooredoo Services

Ooredoo is constantly updating its portfolio of services and solutions to offer Qatar the latest technology on a truly next-generation network.

These changes are designed to provide customers with the full range of benefits from accessing Ooredoo’s next-generation network and to reflect the changing needs of people’s digital lives.

 

Home Broadband Tariff Changes

In line with Ooredoo’s service Terms and Conditions, with effect from 6 August 2018, Ooredoo will be adjusting the tariff for:

Home Broadband 10Mbps

Customer charges will increase from QR 250/monthly to QR 300/monthly.

Home Broadband 10Mbps + TV

Customer charges will increase from QR 250/monthly to QR 300/monthly.

 

Shahry International Calling Changes

In line with Ooredoo’s service Terms and Conditions, with effect from 3 June 2018, Ooredoo will be adjusting the tariff for:

 

Shahry International Roaming Key

Ooredoo’s Shahry International Roaming Key will no longer cover calls to: Niger, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Libya, Uganda, Solomon Islands, Chad, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Madagascar, Comoros, Eritrea, Togo, Seychelles, Mali, Mauritania, Equatorial Guinea, Benin, Gambia and Ethiopia. All calls and SMS to these destinations will be charged standard at standard rates. The Shahry International Roaming Key will also only cover calls to the Ooredoo Algeria Network, and no other operator in Algeria.

 

Shahry International Calling Rates

Ooredoo’s standard international calling rates to Mauritania will be changed from QR 0.99 to QR 2.5, Burkina Faso from QR 0.99 to QR 1.5, Chad from QR 0.99 to QR 2.5 and Equatorial Guinea from QR 0.99 to QR 1.5.

 

With effect from 5 April 2018, Ooredoo will introduce the following upgrades and amendments to its portfolio of services:

Mobile Internet services:

 

International Shahry calling services:

Shahry Saver Key rates for international calling will be revised for the following destinations.

International Roaming Key subscription costs will also be updated to QR 120 per month.

 

Hala services:

International Saver Key rates for calling will be revised:

 

The Hala India Key calling rates will be updated from QR 0.12/min to QR 0.15/min.

The weekly subscription charges for Hala India Key will also be updated from QR 0.50 per week to QR 1 per week.

The Hala Nepal Key calling rates will be updated from QR 0.20/min to QR 0.25/min.

The Hala Bangladesh Key calling rates will be updated from QR 0.19/min to QR 0.25/min.

The Hala Egypt Key calling rates will be updated from QR 0.30/min to QR 0.45/min.

 

A Hala Dawli 20 Card value will be adjusted on the international minutes basis for the below destinations:

 

Flexi Cards and Packs:

 

Data Recharge Card:

The Data Recharge Card QR 10 will offer 500 MB of data valid until midnight from the time of activation. The Data Card QR 30 will offer 1 GB of data valid for 14 days. This change is applicable for both Hala and Shahry customers.

 

Roaming services:

Roaming Bonus data allowance valid in the GCC, USA, UK and Turkey will no longer be available on any Ooredoo Passport for both Shahry and Hala customers.
