The Watch

How do I call from MyKi?

Slide your finger across the screen to find the Phone Book and touch the icon to enter. Slide through the entered numbers in the phonebook until you reach the desired one. Press on it to make an outgoing call. The numbers that can be dialled have to be entered in advance via the mobile application. If no numbers are entered, the Phonebook icon is displayed in grey.

How do I answer incoming calls on MyKi?

Myki Touch accepts an incoming call with a simple touch of the screen.

How do I charge MyKi™ Touch?

Remove the silicone strap and you will see the charging port next to the SOS button. Plug the connector in here and plug the other end into the power socket. Full charging of the battery through a plug takes about 120 minutes, using a standard 5V USB power supply. Charging the watch through a computer takes twice as long.

What does the MyKi screen show?

The parents’ quick-dial icons – “Mum” and “Dad”. You can also see information about time, GSM signal strength, ring mode, data transfer, battery level and unread messages.

How do I turn MyKi™ Touch on and off?

The easiest way to turn off your MyKi Touch is by using the application; open the “Settings” menu and use the “Turn off the clock” option. Additionally, there is a possibility to shut down.
If there is a SIM card in the watch, press the SOS button repeatedly 10 times, and on the last press hold the button for 10 seconds. If there is no SIM card in the watch, press SOS repeatedly 6 times, and on the last press hold the button for 6 seconds.

What are the functions of the SOS button?

When the SOS button is pressed once, the screen is turned on or off. Pressing and holding the SOS button initiates the emergency dial, which is where the watch starts dialling consecutively all SOS numbers entered into the application until contact is made. With the SOS button you can return from the sub-menus, end a call or reject an incoming call.

How do I read a text message sent to MyKi?

MyKi can receive a 20-character text message. Upon receipt of a message on the Myki Touch’s home screen, an icon depicting a letter appears. Sliding across the screen brings you to the sub-menu displayed with the same symbol. Press the display to open the sub-menu. The last message is saved and can be viewed multiple times.

How can I listen to a voice message sent to MyKi?

Select the Voice Messaging screen by dragging the home screen to this screen . When you touch this icon , you can listen to the received voice message.

How can I increase and decrease the ring and in-call volume?

It is not possible to change the in-call volume. You can control the ring tone volume and activate the vibration mode from Home screen -> Settings -> Ring Settings.

How can I send a voice message from MyKi Touch to the MyKi Watch application?

Enter the Voice Messages screen. To record a voice message, touch the Microphone icon; a timer appears on the screen, which means the recording has started. Do not release the button. Record the message and release the button once you have finished recording.
After the button is released, the message will automatically be sent to the application.

Where is the pedometer?

In the Activities screen, you will find the Pedometer, and the Reward feature.
When you click on the steps icon, the number of steps your child has taken on this day will appear on the screen.

What do I do if my watch gets wet?

MyKi is water resistant but is not waterproof. In case water gets into the watch, turn off MyKi and let it dry on a cloth at room temperature. Wait 24 hours before turning it on again. If it does not work properly after switching on, contact the dealer from whom the watch was purchased to get information on where you will get service support.

What size does the SIM Card have to be?

The SIM Card in MyKi Touch can be from any mobile operator, but for the watch to be fully functional the SIM Card must have active data transfer and the PIN Code must have been previously removed.

How many MB does the watch use monthly?

MyKi uses around 50 MB monthly.

The Application

How do I know where my child is?

This icon in the Location menu shows where your child is currently on the map. You can take a photo of your child and replace the picture with the photo you made.

What is the Find Clock function and how is it used?

If MyKi is lost or taken off the child’s hand and you do not know where it is, you can find MyKi Touch with this feature. Press the RING button and MyKi will begin to ring so you can find it.

What is Events History?

This is an informative menu that shows the latest watch requests with a specific date and time (Maximum number of requests: 100).

How do I put a picture of my child in the application?

There is a camera icon on the top left of the application. When you press it, the phone is likely to ask permission for the MyKi Watch application to use your camera. Give permissions to the application, take a photo of your child and see the change right away.

How do I use the alarm?

Through the MyKi Watch application, you can set up to three alarms to alert your child or remind him of various activities during the day. For each alarm you can set days and times to be activated.

What does the WiFi Safe Zone function do?

Each MyKi Touch watch has a built-in Wi-Fi module that improves indoor localisation. When your child is indoors, information about his or her location is based on the Wi-Fi networks the watch detects. In addition, the watch allows for a fast Safe Zone to be determined, according to the local Wi-Fi network set by the parent.

How does the Smart Vibration feature work?

Now you can define the MyKi Touch ring mode when the watch is in a Safe Zone. It can be added to the Location History menu. The smart watch automatically detects when the child enters or exits the specified zone and changes the ring mode.

From where can I send my child a reward?

In the Activity menu at the bottom of the screen, you will see a heart. To the left of the heart there is a minus sign and to the right there is a plus sign. You can send your child a heart reward at any time. When you press the plus, you send it to him. If you think you are dissatisfied, you can remove the heart with the minus. On the MyKi screen, your child will receive information about a new heart or reducing a heart.

What do I do if I forget my password?

To reset the password through the application, press the “Forgotten password” button on the first page of the application. The number that was given by the parent in the application will be asked for. If the number is correct, the watch will receive a code. With this code, the parent can gain access to the watch.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

You have probably denied the access of notifications to your phone. If you own an iPhone, go to Settings and through notifications, allow MyKi Watch to send notifications to your phone. If you own an Android, go to Settings > More> Application Manager, find the MyKi Watch app and allow for notifications.

Can I add another watch to my account?

In the “Settings” menu and sub-menu “Account Settings”, there is an “Add a new watch” option.

Can I control one watch from 2 or more phones?

It is necessary to only give the username and password to a person, who you decide should have access. It is enough to put in the details in the application through the “Settings” menu. It is advised to not give these details to anyone who is not a family member.

How can I register my MyKi Pet?

Insert a SIM card with previously deactivated PIN code and switch the device on by pressing and holding the power button until you hear a specific sound. The device will blink white. Download and install MyKi Pet App from Google Play (for Android devices) or App Store (for iOS devices). The create your own account by inserting your email address, a password and MyKi Pet’s ID, which can be found in the device’s box. Always remember to keep MyKi Pet’s ID and your account’s password safe.

How does MyKi Pet localize my pet?

MyKi Pet has an inbuilt GPS receiver, by means of which it connects to 20 satellites simultaneously when it is outside. When inside and unable to get a GPS signal, MyKi Pet uses a special in-built Wi-Fi and LBS localization module. The collected data is sent via the mobile network directly to your phone. Localization history is kept for up to three months.

Is MyKi Pet waterproof?

MyKi Pet is NOT waterproof. It is designed to withstand mud, dust, moisture, and splash, but not to be submerged in water. Do not use cleaning products or water to clean the device. If necessary, use a wet towel to wipe it.

Is MyKi Pet suitable for all kinds of animals?

Yes, MyKi Pet can be used for dogs, cats, and other pets, as well as for agricultural livestock.

How small or how big should thr animals be in able to use MyKi Pet?

With its 23 grams of weight, MyKi Pet is very light and compact. We recommend that you use the tracker for pets weighing over 1.5 kg. There is no maximum weight limit. If necessary, the leash may be exchanged for a smaller or a bigger one.

What if I have more than one pet?

You can register up to five MyKi Pet devices into one account and to monitor them simultaneously.

I have two phones. Can I monitor the same MyKi Pet device on both of them?

You can monitor one MyKi Pet device on as many mobile phones as you like. You just have to insert the same login data or share them with people you trust.

What kind of notifications do I get on my phone?

MyKi Pet will notify you if your pet leaves the “home” or “walk” safety zone. You will be notified also if the battery needs to be charged.

How long does MyKi Pet work with a fully charged battery?

MyKi Pet functioning depends on how long you are walking your pet. Real-time tracking also affects the battery. At an average, MyKi Pet may function for five days after its battery has been fully charged.

Can I call my pet?

No, MyKi Pet does not provide phone calls service with the pet or animal.
