Prerequisites to activate Ooredoo eSim service on Apple Watch

  • Phone : iPhone 6 and above
  • IOS :IOS 12.2 or later. After installing iOS, please select Update on carrier settings notification. If you choose to skip updating your carrier settings, you won’t be able to enjoy cellular connectivity on your Apple Watch. However, you can update later by accessing Settings > General > About Section where you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
  • Apple Watch : Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) or Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular); Models A2007, A2008, A1889, A1891. Here’s how to check your model number
  • Watch OS : WatchOS 5.1.2 or later
  • Mobile Plan: All Shahry, Qatarna or Hala plans (after allowance consumption standard PAYG charges apply)

6 Easy steps to Pair your Apple Watch with Mobile Plan


  • Mobile Plan allowances (Local & International Calls, Local Mobile Data) will be shared between your Apple Watch and your iPhone.
  • Allowance sharing will not work for Roaming Services.
  • Standard out-of-bundle charges may apply as per your Mobile Plan if Mobile Plan allowances are consumed.
  • Apple Watch and Mobile Plan pairing incurs a one-time QR50 initiation fee and a monthly recurring rental fee of QR30.
 

Find your model number

  • To learn which Apple Watch you have, use its model number:
  • Please wait while your Apple Watch syncs completely with your iPhone
  • Tap OK once pairing is successful
  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > About.
  • Find the Model field. You should see the part number that begins with "M."
  • Tap the Model field. You should see the field update to show a five-digit number that begins with "A." This is your model number.
