Q. What is the Programme called?
A. The Programme is called Nojoom (which means ‘stars’ in Arabic)
Q. What is the Programme about?
A. Nojoom is Ooredoo’s new Rewards Programme that lets us say ‘thank you’ for being our Customer and at the same time lets you share in our success by rewarding you each and every time you use any Ooredoo Service.
Q. What Language is the Programme in?
A. You can select program communications in Arabic or English
Q. How does Nojoom work?
A. When you enrol in Nojoom, you will be allocated one of three status levels; Nojoom Blue, Nojoom Silver or Nojoom Gold. Generally all new Members will be start with Nojoom Blue status, however when the program launches you will be given your status based on your spend with Ooredoo over the past 12 months.
Once enrolled, you will earn Nojoom Points for all your spend on Ooredoo eligible services; these Points can then be converted into Rewards. Rewards include credit for SMS and Minutes on Shahry, Hala top-ups, Qatar Airways Qmiles, Cinema Tickets and vouchers that can be redeemed at partner outlets.
Q. Who can enrol?
A. Ooredoo Residential Customers, who are Qatari residents. Business and Corporate account holders are not eligible to enrol.
Q. Can Hala Customer enrol in Nojoom?
A. Yes, all Ooredoo residential Customers can enrol.
Q. How can I enrol in Nojoom?
A. You can enrol by providing your Qatari ID and one of your GSM service number through the following channels:
- Via the Ooredoo Website
- Via the Ooredoo Mobile Self Service application on your mobile phone
- Via the Ooredoo IVR on 111, 121 & 114
- At an Ooredoo Self Service Machine
The Qatari ID and service number given should match Ooredoo’s records, i.e. the service number provided should be one linked under the Qatari ID provided. If this is not the case, you will be given an error message and will need to re-enter the number and/or Qatari ID.
Q. What information do I need to provide at enrolment?
A. Part of the reason for having Customers enrol in the program is to collect information which will assist Ooredoo in tailoring the program for Member’s on-going and ensure Nojoom Members are communicated to effectively. When you enrol online, you will be asked a number of demographic questions, such as
- Qatari ID
- Service Number (this number will be used as the Nojoom registered number for communications, the registered number can be changed on the web-site).
- Preferred Language
- The User of each service number (e.g. Son, Daughter, Wife, Brother, etc)
- Job Titles
- Interests & Hobbies
- Preferred Contact Method
This information helps us understand you and your needs better and enables us to try and tailor the Programme for you and ensure you are communicated to effectively.
Q. Do I get any bonus from enrolling?
A. If you enrol in the first three months after launch will receive your Status Level (Nojoom, Silver or Gold) based on your spend with Ooredoo over the past 12 months for Shahry and 6 months for Hala. Normally, when you enrol, you would start with Nojoom Blue Status and have to earn your Status based on your activities after enrolment.
Q. What services can be enrolled?
A. You can enrol all your services under your Qatari ID. If you have a number of Ooredoo Accounts with multiple services, all the services under the same Qatari ID will be enrolled and linked to one Nojoom account automatically.
Q. How many services can be enrolled?
A. You enrol using your Qatari ID and all accounts and services under your Qatari ID will be enrolled in the one Nojoom account. You will only earn from a maximum of 20 Ooredoo Services at any one time.
Q. Which 20 services can I earn from?
A. The top 20 services, based on spend, will be automatically chosen when you enrol, but you can change these 20 services you earn Points from on the Ooredoo [here].
Q. Can I change the services I earn Points from as often as I like?
A. Once you remove a service from earning Points, it cannot be selected to earn Points again for 3 months. After 3 months you are free to select the service again to start earning Points from it.
Q. What happens if I add a service in the middle of a billing period?
A. Post paid Customers accrue Points on the bill date, and Pre paid in the first week of each month - Points are given for usage over the previous month.
If you enrol in the middle of the cycle you will accrue Points for the whole bill cycle, not just from the date of enrolment.
- You are billed on the 1st of the month.
- You join Nojoom anytime between the 2nd and 31st of Jan
- You get your bill on the 1st Feb
- You get Points (1st Feb) for all usage between 2nd Jan and 1st Feb.
Q. Can non-Qatari residents enrol in Nojoom?
A. No, Nojoom is only open to Qatari Residents with a Qatari ID.
Q. Can Businesses enrol in Nojoom?
A. No, Nojoom is only open to Ooredoo Customers with residential accounts
Q. Does enrolling in Nojoom cost anything?
A. No, Nojoom is free to join
Q. How will I be informed about enrolment?
A. If you are a Nojoom Blue or a Nojoom Silver Member, after successful completion of enrolment a Welcome email and/or SMS will be sent to you. If no email address is available only an SMS will be sent. If you are a Nojoom Gold Member, you will receive a mailed Welcome Pack which will include details on the program.
Earning Nojoom Points
Q. How do I earn Points in Nojoom?
A. You will earn Points for all spend on a maximum of 20 Ooredoo Services, across all the accounts under your Qatati ID.
Q. How many Points do I earn?
A. You will earn 1 Nojoom Point for every 1 Riyal spent on Ooredoo Services linked under your Qatari ID.
Q. Can I earn Points from Internet and Mosaic services or just mobile?
A. You will earn Points for spend on all Ooredoo Services. Mobile, Land-line, Internet and TV.
Q. How do I get issued my Points?
A. The process for issuing Points is slightly different depending on whether you are earning from a Hala or billed Ooredoo Service. This is detailed over the next few questions.
Q. How do Hala Customers get issued Points?
A. Hala Customers will earn for usage of their Hala service, and not for each top-up. Hala Customers spend on calls will be calculated and Points for usage will be credited to their Nojoom account in the first week of each calendar month.
Q. How do billed services (Shahry, Land-Line, Mosaic) get issued Points?
A. For billed services, on the billing date each month you will receive Points for all the eligible spend on your bill. These Points will be credited as ‘Pending Points’ until the bill is paid in full.
Q. What are Pending Points?
A. Pending Points are Points that you have earned that have not been released, as the bill they were issued for has not been paid in full.
Pending Points cannot be used to redeem Rewards.
Q. What happens when I pay my bill?
A. When you pay your bill in full, all your Pending Points for that bill will be converted to Nojoom Points within 10 days. Once credited these Nojoom Points can be redeemed for rewards.
Q. What happens if I only pay part of my bill?
A. If you only pays part of a bill, all the pending Points for that bill will remain pending. Once enough has been paid to cover the bill amount in full all the pending Points will convert to Nojoom Points.
Q. What happens if I join Nojoom in the middle of a bill cycle?
A. In the case where you join Nojoom in the middle of a billing or prepaid month cycle, you will earn Points for the total amount of (eligible) spend on that months invoice. Accrued on the next invoice date, or next prepaid Points allocation date.
Q. What happens if I pay more than my billed amount?
A. If you pay more than your billed amount you will only receive Points for the amount billed. No Points will be given for any additional payments.
Q. What spend is not eligible to earn Points?
A. Credit Transfers, Staff and Customer Discounts and Deposit Payments (Sureties) will not earn Points
Q. How long do I have to use my Points?
A. Points are valid for two years from the day that they are earned. You will be notified of pending expiry dates via the Website, Direct Marketing Messages and Quarterly Statements.
Q. What are Bonus Points?
A. Occasionally Ooredoo may decide to run promotions. Should you choose to take advantage of these promotions you will be issued Bonus Points.
Bonus Points are the same as Nojoom Points and can be used to redeem for Rewards. In some cases Bonus Points may expire quicker than Nojoom Points, but in these cases you will be advised in advance regarding the Terms and Conditional around the earning and expiry of Bonus Points.
Q. What is Nojoom Status?
A. In order to reward our best Customers, Nojoom has been designed with three Status levels of Membership – Nojoom Blue, Nojoom Silver and Nojoom Gold. The higher a Member’s Status the more privileges they receive.
Q. How do I earn higher Status within the Programme?
A. You will earn ‘Status Points’ for your spend with Ooredoo, these Points count towards Status.
You receive 1 Status Point for every 100 Riyals spent on Ooredoo Services.
Status Points can only be earned for actual spend on Ooredoo Services, so any bonuses given or Nojoom Points earned via other means, such as with partners, will not qualify for Status Points and upgrade.
Q. How many Status Points does it take to upgrade to Silver Status?
A. To upgrade to Silver Status you must collect 60 Status Points within a 12 month period, this is equivalent to an average spend of 500 Riyals per month for 12 months.
Q. How many Status Points does it take to upgrade to Gold Status?
A. To upgrade to Gold Status you must collect 300 Status Points within a 12 month period.
Q. When can I upgrade?
A. You can upgrade at anytime. As soon as you collect enough Status Points to upgrade, you will be upgraded to your earned Status.
Q. Once I upgrade to a new Status, how long will the upgrade be valid for?
A. Once you upgrade to a new Status, that Status will be valid for 12 months.
Q. What happens when my Status expires?
A. On expiry of Status after 12 months the number of Status Points earned in the previous 12 months is reviewed. If you have earned enough Status Points to meet the threshold (60 for Silver, 300 for Gold) then you will maintain your Status, if you have not met the threshold then you will be downgraded to the next Status down.
Q. Do I lose my Status Points when I upgrade to a new Status?
A. No, the Status Points you have is always the total earned in the previous 12 months. When you upgrade, you maintain the Status Points earned and can build on these to earn further upgrade.
- If you spend 3000 Riyals per month so would earn 30 Status Points per month
- After 2 months you will have 60 Status Points and will upgrade to Silver
- After 3 month you will have 90 Status Points
- After 10 month you will have 300 Status Points and will upgrade to Gold
- Gold is valid for 12 months, so 12 months after upgrading to Gold you will have earned 360 Status Points in the preceding 12 months (30 per month x 12 months), so will maintain Gold Status.
Q. What privileges do Nojoom Silver Members get?
A. Nojoom Silver Members will be able to earn Nojoom Points at a faster rate than Nojoom Blue Members. Silver Members will earn 50% more Points – so 1.5 Nojoom Points for every 1 Riyal spent.
Q. What privileges do Nojoom Gold Members get?
A. Nojoom Gold Members will be able to earn Nojoom Points at a faster rate than Nojoom Blue and Nojoom Silver Members. Nojoom Gold Members will earn 100% more Points – so 2 Nojoom Points for every 1 Riyal spent.
Nojoom Gold Members will receive a Membership Card which will entitle them to special discounts at participating partners, and also receive a quarterly paper statement and program information.
Nojoom Gold Members will have exclusive access to a number of Gold only partners, where they can redeem their Nojoom Points.
Q. Do I get paper statements?
A. If you are a Nojoom Gold Members, you will receive a quarterly paper statement and program information. If you are a Nojoom Blue or Nojoom Silver Member, you will receive email statements if you have a valid email address registered in Nojoom.
Q. How does Status downgrade work?
A. If you have not met the threshold to maintain your Status, you will be downgraded to the next Status down. You can only even be downgraded by one Status at a time. So Nojoom Gold to Nojoom Silver, and Nojoom Silver to Nojoom Blue. You will never be downgraded more than one Status at a time, irrespective of how many Status Points you have earned in the previous 12 months.
Q. How can I stay updated on how many Points I have and Programme information?
A. You can access full program information, including your Points balance, Nojoom Statements, available Rewards and participating partners here on the Ooredoo website.
You can also get your Points balance and redeem Ooredoo Service Rewards via the following channels:
- Via the Ooredoo Mobile Self Service application on their mobile phone
- Via the Ooredoo IVR on 111 & 114 (Post-paid only)
- Atan Ooredoo Self Service Machine

Q. What language will these communications be in?
A. You can choose to receive program information in either Arabic or English.
Q. What can I do on the website?
A. The website will allow you to do the following:
- View program information and promotions
- Make updates to your Nojoom Registered Service Number
- Make updates to your personal Nojoom information
- If you have more than 20 services, you can choose which ones you would like to earn Points from in the Programme
- See your previous earn and redemption transactions by month
- View your Nojoom Statements
- View information on Nojoom Partners
- Redeem Nojoom Rewards
Q. How do I access the website?
A. You can use your existing eOoredoo Login and Password to access the Nojoom part of the Ooredoo website. If you do not have an eOoredoo Login, you will be provided with a new website Login and Password when you enrol to Nojoom. This same Login can then be used for eOoredoo.
Q. What is a Nojoom Registered Service Number?
A. When you enrol you select a Registered Service Number, this is the number Ooredoo will use to communicate with you regarding Nojoom.
Q. What address will be used to communicate with me?
A. The address of the account held in the system for the Nojoom Registered Service Number.
Rewards / Partners
Q. What are the rules when redeeming for a Hala Top-up?
A. Hala Top up’s can be redeemed to any Ooredoo Hala Account registered under your QID and will be valid for 6 months. Top-up will be credited to your Nojoom Balance and cannot be transferred to another Prepaid Account, and will not extend your main account validity.
Q. How is redeeming for Hala through Nojoom affect my main account balance and validity?
A. When you make redemption for Hala through Nojoom, it will be placed in a separate account and will not affect your overall Hala credit validity. Credit will be consumed based on validity. To check Nojoom balance dial *129*1#
Q. What are Nojoom Rewards?
A. Once you collect Nojoom Points, you can use these Points to redeem for a number of Rewards. Rewards are separated into two main categories: Ooredoo Product & Service Rewards and Partner Rewards. A full list of Rewards is available at the end of this section.
Q. What Ooredoo Product & Service Rewards are available?
A. You can redeem your Nojoom Points for Shahry SMS and Minute credits and Hala account top-ups.
Q. Do I earn Nojoom Points when redeem for Hala Top-up?
A. No, Nojoom Points are not earned on the credit when you top-up for Hala.
Q. What types of Rewards can I redeem from partners?
A. You can redeem your Nojoom Points for vouchers ranging from 50 to 2000 Riyals to use with participating partners.
At Nojoom partners you will be able to use your Nojoom Voucher to purchase items such as Clothing, Electronics, Groceries, Books, CD’s, DVD’s, Cinema Tickets, Spa Treatments and Airline Miles.
Q. How many partners are there?
A. The list of partners will continue to increase as the program grows. For more information about the partners click here. As the number of partners increases you will be advised quarterly via the Member newsletters and on the website.
Q. How many Points will it take to redeem a Reward?
A. Rewards can be redeemed for a little as 200 Nojoom Points. You can view available Rewards [here]
Q. How do I go about redeeming an Ooredoo Rewards?
A. You can redeem Ooredoo Rewards in the Rewards section [link] of this website
Q. Can I issue an Ooredoo Service Reward to anyone?
A. Yes – you can select the number that an Ooredoo Reward should be issued to.
It is important that the number chosen is actually an Ooredoo Service Number and is the same type of service as the Reward chosen i.e. Hala top-up can only be applied to a Hala service number. If the above does not apply then you will receive an error and will need to re-issue the Reward to an eligible number.
Q. How do I go about redeeming a Partner Voucher?
A. You can redeem partner vouchers on the website or via the call centre by following these steps:
- Select Reward Voucher online
- Select number for Voucher to be sent too
- An SMS containing the Voucher Number sent to the selected number
- Points are deducted from your account
- Go to partner outlet for redemption
- The Voucher Number and value are input at the partner
- You will receive a discount off purchase to the value of the Voucher
- E-voucher is marked as ‘redeemed’ in the system real time and cannot be used again
Q. What if the item I want to purchase is of a different value to the voucher.
A. If the item purchased is less than the value of the Voucher, you will not receive change.
If the item purchased is greater in value than the Voucher amount, the Vouchers can be used as part payment. The balance must be paid on purchase.
Q. How long are Vouchers valid for?
A. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the time of issue.
Q. Can I transfer Rewards to another person.
A. Yes, you can either choose to issue the Reward to another person when you make the redemption or in the case of Vouchers, can simply forward the SMS to someone else.
Q. How many times can a voucher be used?
A. Vouchers can only be used once. Once a voucher is used with a partner it will be cancelled in the system and it will not be possible to use it again.
Q. Once a Reward is redeemed can it be reversed?
A. No – once a Reward is redeemed it is credited and the Points cannot be reallocated to your Nojoom Account.

Q. How long is Membership valid for?
A. Nojoom Membership is valid for as long as the Member spends on their Ooredoo Services. If you do not accrue any Points for six months due to no spend on your Ooredoo Services however the account will be suspended and marked as inactive.
Q. What happens if I cancel all of my Ooredoo Services?
A. If you cancel all of your Ooredoo Services the following will occur:
- You will have one month to redeem any Points in your Nojoom account.
- Following this month, your account will stay in a suspended Status for two months, during which time if you return to Ooredoo your Nojoom account will be reactivated.
- Three months after cancellation of an account the account will be closed and if you wish to take part in Nojoom you will have to re-enrol.
