What is the Business Group option?
Business Group is a mobile option from Ooredoo that enables your company to save on intra-company costs. It has 6 distinctive features that make your life as a business more comfortable: Closed User Group: Postpaid GSM lines belonging to the Business Group call each other with 0.20 QR (peak or off-peak). Voice calls going out from the Business Group to any local number (mobile, landline) are charged with 0.32 QR (peak or off-peak). There is an extra Business Group monthly fee of QR 15 on the top of the postpaid monthly fee per Business Group member (available with Shahry Packs and Standard Shahry tariff).
FREE option: Business Group members can opt for the “FREE option”. It comes with a monthly fee of 50 QR. Each Business Group member, who has the FREE option receives 10,000 free minutes to call the other Business Group members. So in this case there is an extra FREE option monthly fee of QR 50 on the top of the postpaid monthly fee per Business Group member ( available with Shahry Packs and Standard Shahry tariff ). The Business Group standard monthly fee of 15 QR is not paid anymore.
Short Numbers: You can assign Short Numbers to the members of your Business Group and they can call each other with these numbers. For example instead of the long mobile number of 555000 you can use the Short Number 001 to call your colleague. But even if you dial the long number you will reach him. In any case the minute rate is the same, 0.20 QR. VIP numbers: For every 50 member of your Business Group you are eligible to nominate a VIP number from your Business Group. This number can call all the other Business Group members for free, but still pays the monthly fee of 65 QR. You can have a maximum of 5 VIP numbers. Frequently Called Numbers:
You can nominate up to 5 local Ooredoo mobile or landline numbers (outside of your Business Group) that will be your Frequently Called Numbers. All calls from the Business Group members to the Frequently Called Numbers are deducted from a Frequently Called Numbers shared bundle. After this bundle is used up, the calls are charged with 0.32 QR. There are 3 Frequently Called Numbers shared bundles (see below). You have to choose one of them for your Frequently Called Numbers calls.

Why do I see on my bill “Business Group Monthly Fee” and a “Standard Shahry monthly fee” under the Subscriptions section? I thought that I didn’t have Shahry, but Business Group! The Business Group tariff is part of the Shahry (monthy) family. There is an extra monthly fee of 15 QR for the Business Group option in addition to the postpaid monthly fee (whatever postpaid tariff you have). This is reflected on the bill where you see the postpaid monthly fee, and 15 QR monthly fee for the Business Group option. In case the Business Group member has the FREE option he will see 50 QR Business Group FREE option (instead of the 15 QR monthly fee for Business Group). Why do I see the charges for the Virtual Numbers under another account than the Business Group monthly charges? The charges for the Virtual Numbers are charged on the company level but the benefits are applied to all members of the Business Group belonging to that particular company. That’s why we display these charges only once and in an extra, company (and not service) related account.
