Topping up your Hala Account

Hala gives you total freedom in managing your spend. Simply recharge as much as you need - from as little as QR10, to as much as QR500 and accumulate credit validity for absolutely free.

Use the Direct top-up option and increase your credit balance in just couple of seconds without the need to obtain any cards or secret numbers. Simply locate our distinctive Self Service Machines, enter your Hala number, the amount you want to pay, and your service will be immediately credited.

1. Bonus units are valid for 6 months and and you can accumulate up to 1000 units each for International Minutes and Data MB’s, Calls made to Satellite phones e.g. Iridium, Sky phone and Thuraya are not included.
    
2. Each time you top-up with call credit, Hala allows you to accumulate credit validity up to a maximum of 365 days.
    
3. When the validity period ends, you will enter a reconnection period where you will be able to only receive calls and SMS for the first 30 days. You also get an additional extended reconnection period of 90 days during which you can retain your number. However during this period you will not be able to send or receive calls until you top-up your call credit.

Top-up cards and e-Vouchers 

Purchase your voucher in whichever format, locate the secret number, dial:
127 secret number    from the Hala line that you wish to recharge. You will instantly receive a confirmation of your new credit amount and validity period. Where to buy:Recharge cards are available through Ooredoo shops and partner retailers throughout Qatar. e-Vouchers are available at selected dealer shops and all Ooredoo Self Service Machines.

Direct top-up What is it? Ooredoo Self Service Machines allow you to directly top up your Hala with any amount between QR10 and QR500. No need for any secret number on printed vouchers. How does it work? You key-in the required Hala number you want to recharge, choose any amount between QR10 and QR500 to be recharged and pay by cash or a bank card. After the transaction is finished, you'll receive a confirmation SMS to the number you recharged. Where to find: Ooredoo Self Service Machines are available at Ooredoo shops and many other locations throughout Qatar.

Recharge now conveniently with our eTopUp option using your credit card and get same benefits as with other Direct Top-up methods.

Credit Transfer

Any Hala customer or Shahry customer can transfer airtime credit to any other Hala customer by simply entering: 130  recipient's mobile number  amount then press .

The minimum transfer amount is QR 10. The sender will be charged QR 0.50 per transfer.

Did You Know?

The added advantage of transferring credit from Shahry to Hala is that you get both Validity and Credit.
