In 1992 Waleed has managed the project of Ras Laffan LNG and supported all contractors and companies with their entire telecom requirements until they became fully functional. In 1998 he was appointed as Marketing and Planning Manager for Mobile Services for which he has contributed to increase the subscriber base significantly. In 2004 he was appointed as Executive Director-Group Communication where he has put the plan and implemented a very clear strategy which has significantly improved the corporate image; strengthen the international and community relations. He was instrumental in carrying out several successful campaigns to lead Ooredoo in winning many international prizes.
